Audio books from OverDrive can be downloaded to your computer or MP3 player. To learn what free software you need to download, what types of MP3 players can be used, and how to begin downloading audiobooks, click on the icon below:

Once you have set up your home computer to download audiobooks, you can search for titles you want and either download them if they are available or request them if they are not.
If your home internet connection is slow, you can bring your compatible MP3 player to the library. We have one computer that is set up for you to download books to your player.
Generally, there is only one copy of each title. Items that have been checked out by other patrons can be requested just as regular library items can. You will be notified by e-mail when the title you want is available.
Downloadable audiobooks are checked back in automatically when they are due. That means you can't have fines on the audiobooks you download. However, if you have fines on regular items you have checked out from a library, or if you have overdue items from a library, you will not be able to log in to OverDrive.
